Cannabis or THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is a psychotropic substance that is obtained from the hemp plant. THC is an illegal drug in most part of the world and cannabis is considered the most influential drug in the early ages of life and in youth. The consumption of this substance at an early age is related to biochemical changes that can affect brain development and early psychiatric disorders. A permissive culture in the consumption of cannabis at an early age causes dysfunction at a personal, relational and academic level that requires treatment of intensive and prolonged addictive consumption.
- Dilation of the blood vessels of the eyes.

- Increased appetite and overeating.
